FUNDRAISING PAVILIONS
In recent years Punchestown has become a hugely successful venue for fundraising for
charities, political parties and sporting organisations. Every year over € 1 million
is raised for causes as diverse as Focus Ireland and Roscommon GAA. In 2007 the
largest fundraiser ever held at an Irish race meeting took place in Punchestown
when over 2,000 guests attended an event for Longford GAA. The facilities at Punchestown
generally accommodate fundraisers for approximately 1,000 guests during the festival and
groups of around 200 on non festival days.
